After 7 years and numerous projects, Viennese coding and design agency formerly known as 100und1 decided it was time for a new look – and name, dropping the “und” and becoming simply 101. Knowing that any creative studios first and for most important calling card is their own corporate identity, the cleaner, sleeker and cooler new CI depicts their digital focus and sense of style and taste better than before. What remains, however, is the comprehensive range of services: “We handle the entire project process – from conception to programming, from management to printing. And, of course, we are still strongly rooted in the print, ” explains founder Lukas Fliszar.
With an impressive client roster including leading cultural and creative institutions such as the Volkstheater, sound:frame, Creativ Club Austria and designaustria, corporations such as ÖBB also rely on their creativity. Creativity that has won praise in the form of an Golden Pixel Award, the German Design Award, the Card Couture Award and several Joseph Binder Awards as well as CCA Awards.
OpenCall for Community Exhibition
In celebration of the relaunch, 101 announced an OpenCall searching for 101 works, picture or text, for a community exhibition planned at the end of the year with a possible corresponding publication. The art works can be send via an interactive “drawing board” on their new website. The idea is to create a low-threshold, fun event for image-intensive communication. The printing process will be broadcast live online so participants can see their pieces come alive. Anybody can participate! Get creative at 101.at/#open-call.
