During the Covid-19 crisis, personal well-being and self-care rituals have grown in popularity around the world, as we all yearn for a healthier lifestyle and a more balanced life in a tumultuous, ever-changing world. We’re searching for an inner calm, a safe place, where we can relax, take a deep breath, and slow down. Graz-based art director and graphic designer Helena Pichler had these ideas in mind when she designed the visual identity and packaging for Sonnentanz – an aroma jewelry brand that supports and strengthens your well-being through scented oils.
Pastel tones, gold foil, texture play — create a serene and stylish visual identity that supports the idea of slowing down and relaxing – exactly what we all need right now!
“In a world full of information, stress, and performance-based evaluation, it is important to look after yourself and be considerate of your own needs. Slowing down, relaxing, and taking a deep breath are more important than ever. Sonnentanz supports you in maintaining your inner calm, your balance, and perseverance”, Pichler writes about the concept of the brand.
I developed a brand identity and packaging design that perfectly represent the characteristics of the brand: feminine and elegant with a contemporary aesthetic, Pichler writes.
With aroma jewelry that supports and strengthens your well-being through scented oils, Sonnentanz creates sustainable jewelry that is not only beautiful but touches all the senses. The visual identity, including packaging, was designed to aline with this ideology. “I developed a brand identity and packaging design that perfectly represent the characteristics of the brand: feminine and elegant with a contemporary aesthetic”, Pichler further explains. The pastel hues and soft, natural color tones and textures, together with gold foil printed details and delicate line illustrations create a soothing atmosphere, fitting for a holistic well-being brand message.
