Posterheroes is an international contest about social design and social communication asking the global creative community to express powerful messages through a poster 70 x 100cm about social and environmental issues. The contest, which was founded in 2010 by the non-profit Associazione Culturale PLUG and is now sponsored by Favini and ITCILO, is open to everyone – but the deadline for this year’s competition is the 20th of September, which is fast approaching!
Mindful or mind full?
“When’s the last time you learned something new? Equal access to education and knowledge forms one of the pillars of today’s society. Fostering equitable, inclusive, and open access to learning influences the world’s citizens to promote social justice, peace, respect for diversity, and basic human rights” – begins the brief for this year’s theme. Focusing on learning the challenges it brings in the era where we all have to deal with an information overload, ever-accelerating technologies, and the never-ending need to reskill, upskill, and newskill to keep up with this new pace.
This year Posterheroes calls upon the international creative community to express themselves through a poster:
- How might we transform existing learning and training models?
- How might we address the limits of the current paradigm?
- How might we reimagine the future of learning?
The candidate designs for the competition will be submitted to an international jury that will examine them to select forty (40) winners. These will be further judged by the organizers, in order to identify the prize’s winner of 2.500€.
