Ever had a photographer yell “say CHEEESE” while pointing the lens at you? The idea is to get the subject smiling involuntarily, which I mostly find annoying. But just the idea of cheese will get me smiling as I’m a fan of the big old stinker. Russian creative Rushavel Sultanov designed a hilariously psychedelic cheese packaging concept, aimed for every one crazy about cheese!
Even though the design is only a concept, I really really wish it would be real. I’d absolutely love to buy these crazy Say Cheeese’s with a grin for my next cheese night (read, every second night). What I’m really missing in the world of packaging is brave and bold designs, especially ones with colorful patterns or a humorous take, that stand out from the crowd. Rushavel Sultanov packages cheese in a playful manner with fun optical illusions printed on kraft paper and gift wrapped like a present. The label, that personifies the dairy product is designed to look like a big smile. Each of the five different cheese brands is designated with a different pattern, ranging from Camenberts soft white and beige waves to Fetas crazy optical illusion pattern. Who doesn’t love cheese, especially if it comes wrapped like this?
