I’m a sucker for unique, personal and appealing packaging. Hungarian designer Zsolt Zleovszki used kraft paper to wrap a range of hand made aromatic soaps, in honor of Hungarian Bati’s Soaps mission to provide exclusive and natural ingredients, and tied it all together with some rustic paper yarn. The package includes a stamped label, which includes the labels retro inspired logo as well as hand written information: the bar-soap type, quantity count, and date produced.
I’ve been told I would buy rocks if they would come with a pretty bow, well in my case some pretty paper, but the point is they are right. Packaging or the presentation of an item is equally important as the item itself, as it’s part of its branding and experience. Especially when talking about consumer product, packaging can break or make the product. The unrefined look of the Bubble Works soap bars is well balanced combination of effortless and chic, while producing a low-cost, good looking packaging that fills its purpose. A simple, quality soap deserves a simple, beautiful packaging.
ps. the idea of the packaging is great inspiration for next time you are looking for a cute little present for someone!
