South-Korean paper artist and graphic designer Lee Ji-hee masterfully designs and builds life-sized models of some of our favorite meals in her ongoing Paper Food Series. Ji-hee’s works are meticulously designed with the smallest of details replicated to perfection, from the gooey, stringy cheese on a pizza slice to the seeds in a sliced-up pumpkin and the see-through rice paper wrappers on vegetable dumplings. All perfectly cut, folded, glued, placed, and photographed, the series that began in 2019 keeps growing with new food items and mouth-watering feasts for all of our pleasure.

In the digital era we live in, the artist chooses to work mainly manually while rarely relying on laser cutting, finding inspiration from her own experiences and memories, and the emotions attached to them.
