Hopa Studio is a Warsaw based design studio run by Piotr Hołub and Marcin Paściak specializing in branding and visual identification. Their stunning portfolio, wide range of clients and over 100 finished projects speak volumes of their capabilities and talent. But it was their limited edition wytrawna robota wine packaging designs full of drama and character that caught my eye.
Inspired by King Edward VII’s words: One not only drinks the wine, one smells it, observes it, taste it, sips it and one talks about it, Hopa Studio designed a limited edition wine packaging to give to their customers and friends. Combining medieval engravings, simple geometric shapes and modern typography in vibrant color combinations the end results make me very envious of the ones on the receiving end of these stunning packages. The bottle labels and color coordinated wrapping papers were screen printed while the hopa studio · wytrawna robota signs on the cardboard tubes were dry printed. As a complementation of the entire project is the series of posters which advertise each of the bottles.
