DISTORTION is a manually created alphabet based on experiments of distortion and digital image manipulation. Designed for a school project by a graphic design student Adam Csider from the Visual Arts Institute, Eger, Hungary. By scanning the cutout letters made of holographic paper, Csider combined manual and digital means resulting in interesting, dynamic results. At first glance, it’s hard to see what steps have gone into creating the alphabet. Csider also created an animation showing the letters in motion.
