Father’s Day is celebrated on different dates in different countries, and here in Austria, it’s today Sunday the 9th of June. Father’s Day was created in honor of fathers and the celebration of fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society, with the earliest records of the event having been found from the Middle Ages.

Magoz’ illustrations
This year we are celebrating the men in our lives in a little different, non-material way. We gathered together some of Barcelona born, now Malmö based illustrator Magoz‘ work – the ones which reminded us most of our own fathers.
Magoz creates minimal, simplistic illustrations, heavily focusing on the conceptual value of the work. Often incorporation only a few elements, while using powerful colors, Magoz work communicates strong messages full of meaning. Having worked for giants such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and Billboard, Magoz’ work can be seen across the globe on various projects and publications.
