Our hometown Vienna is world known for its classic Kaffeehaus culture which has played a significant role in shaping the city to what it is today. The social practices, the rituals, the elegance create the very specific atmosphere, where time and space are consumed, but only the coffee is found on the bill. Typical for Viennese coffee houses are marble tabletops, Thonet chairs, newspaper stick holders along with chic art deco elements, which were the inspiration behind the clean minimalistic identity for the new cafe and patisserie Creme de la Creme by Bureau Rabensteiner.
Creme de la Creme represents the new age of the traditional cafe culture, honoring the old without being dated and dusty – as quite the opposite, its airy white space, high windows and contemporary details set it firmly to the 21st century. The stylish cream, gold, and dark emerald green identity stretch across signage, flags, coffee cups, paper bags, coasters and boxes for pastry and cakes to the menus and web design. In quintessential Bureau Rabensteiner style, the concept is sleek, minimal and thoroughly thought-out. Their talent lies in the details, elegant humor and of course – exquisite taste in materials!
