Following their stunning holiday display for UNGER we wrote about last week, we return with another breathtaking creation by Edinas Paper — this time for the legendary Fortnum & Mason. Renowned for its iconic storefronts and rich heritage, the London-based luxury retailer partnered with Edinas Paper to craft an enchanting window display that captures the essence of Christmas with unparalleled artistry and finesse.
This year, our displays are a celebration of Fortnum’s unique holiday offerings. Drawing on our beautifully crafted Christmas products and new packaging, we’ve woven together majestic animals, vibrant birds, lush foliage, and intricate borders into striking, colorful compositions.
For this project, Edinas Paper embraced Fortnum & Mason’s festive spirit, designing a series of intricate paper compositions that bring to life the retailer’s theme for the season. “This year, our displays are a celebration of Fortnum’s unique holiday offerings,” says Sallie Smith, Head of Visual Presentation. “Drawing on our beautifully crafted Christmas products and new packaging, we’ve woven together majestic animals, vibrant birds, lush foliage, and intricate borders into striking, colorful compositions.”
Inspired by traditional Christmas motifs and the elegance of Fortnum’s brand, the display evokes nostalgia while dazzling onlookers with its contemporary craftsmanship. Layered paper designs depict festive table settings, charming holiday scenes, and ornate decorations, each infused with the meticulous detail and precision for which Edinas Paper is celebrated.

What makes this installation truly remarkable is its masterful use of design papers. Once again, thoughtfully chosen for their durability, quality, and boldly bright colors, the utilized design papers are transformed into a colorful medley of festive cheer in the form of foliage and delicate paper birds. The play of light and shadow across the multitude of layers creates a whimsical sense of depth and motion, making the windows a world on their own for viewers to dive into. From the cascading, lush greenery to the fine embellishments on the miniature creatures, tropical birds, and other props, every element is a testament to the talented team’s dedication to their craft and Fortnum & Mason’s visual story.

To bring the magic of the season alive and match the inspiration behind the brand’s brand-new packaging designs, the window display is full of vibrant colors that together create an explosive experience. A multitude of different design papers was used in the project, among which was PERGRAPHICA® Colours Magnificent Green, Mirror Gold, IQ Color Medium Green, and Remake Autumn from Europapier, chosen surely for their quality and rich color tones.
Edinas Paper’s work reflects their philosophy of blending artistry with storytelling, turning retail windows into immersive experiences. Their ability to interpret a brand’s identity and translate it into a three-dimensional visual narrative is evident in every fold and cut of this project. In collaboration with Fortnum & Mason, they have created a display that not only celebrates the joy of the holiday season but also embodies the unique combination of whimsy and luxury associated with the retailer.
This installation follows closely on the heels of Edinas Paper’s work for UNGER, where their innovative use of paper and storytelling transformed another luxury window into a festive spectacle. The two projects together showcase the versatility and boundless creativity of the Edinas Paper team, solidifying their reputation as leaders in the art of paper design.
