Sustainably designed Winter Wonderland window display of a jewelry showroom located at the main street of Kosice
This year Edinas Paper got the chance to work with a new client from Kosice, Slovakia who is just as much devoted to creating an experience to remember for their clients as the creative team at Edinas is. The agency known for their incredible paper creations was commissioned to design a window display on the main street of Kosice for an exclusive jewelry showroom that’ll draw the attention of the people passing by.
With their strong beliefs in long term collaboration as well as sustainability, Edinas Paper came up with a concept that is capable of renewing itself and showing a new side every season. So from the beginning, the team designed with all the seasons in mind. The white facades of Kosice architectonical landmarks serve as a base for the window display, as each season a new seasonal element is added. The replica of the Beggar’s house where the exclusive jewelry showroom is located, in the center of the display, was created from several layers of Munken Polar in both 300 and 6000 gsm, paper exclusively available at Europapier. The roof is made out of an impressive 1400 laser-cut tiles to maximize the three-dimensional effect, while all of the pieces were glued on by hand.

An ever-evolving window display that changes with the season’s highlights the beautiful pieces of jewelry to their best cababilities
Starting with the autumnal concept, Edinas designed an art nouveau inspired leaf composition with some additional rose gold hot foil details. And for the colder seasons, they decided to bring a mesmerizing winter wonderland to life, as an addition to the white facades. Some of the elements are kinetic and have extra build-in lighting, in order to draw extra attention towards the window display from passers-by the team put extra emphasis on incorporating the pieces of jewelry in the composition in order to properly display them.
The detailed Ferris wheel is placed in the center of the composition, becoming the piece that displays the exclusive engagement rings of Šperky z dielne Egne sitting in the cabins. The movement was an important part of the design, as it slowly turns and lights up between the houses it will definitely set the festive mood. The skating couple and the sleigh are also kinetic elements that feature jewelry boxes of Šperky z dielne Egne as Christmas presents. The soft silver shades of the Curious Metallics 300 gsm paper in color Eucalyptus and Rose Gold (available at Europapier Budapest) perfectly work with the colors of the brand. The skating silhouettes are present to elevate the festive spirit, and you can almost hear the children laughing.
Creating a meaningful experience for both the client and the viewer
As we believe in holistic thinking and in the power of offline experience, we think that it is so important to connect with your partners and clients in a way that will be remembered – especially in these uncertain times. Brand elements well combined with smart design can be something that stays on the desk of your partners for a long time instead of ending up in the drawer”, Edinas paper says about their approach towards the project. “We designed this layered PR gift for Šperky z dielne Egne representing the facade of their showroom in Kosice. Some layers can be changed so that they can be seasonal making the whole experience”, Edinas continues.
