DuPont™ invites you to design and prototype new creative applications for DuPont™ Tyvek®, for a chance to win the Tyvek® DESIGN OF 2023 Award. Unleash your creativity, harnessing the expansive potential of this material that blends the properties of paper, film, and fabric, and apply now!
To enhance your design and increase your likelihood of selection, DuPont provides a complimentary Swatchbook. This sample book showcases the full range of Tyvek® materials as well as converted Tyvek® fabrics for both design and consumer applications. Task: to design and prototype new creative applications for DuPont™ Tyvek®.
- The applications can be, for instance, home-use, fashion and accessories, art, fine packaging, space and interior, and novelty. The aim is to incorporate at least 50% Tyvek® material in the prototype.
- Anyone worldwide can participate; they can ask for a swatch book from DuPont and once they submit their contest idea, DuPont offers up to 5sqm of material for them to construct it.
- Submission Deadline: November 30, 2023
- There will be 3 winners ( prize: €3.000 each) & 17 special mentions (prize: giveaways & visibility perks). The winners will be announced by the end of December 2023.
- Voting process: The 3 winners will be determined by a jury; the special mentions will be awarded based on community online voting.
