Truly unique labels, inspired by the legendary personalities of the first owners of the Vasaknos Manor and Brewery, the Radvilos
Documents date the history of the Vasaknos Manor brewery all the way back to 1719. Granted, that today, Vasaknos Manor beer is produced with a fully computerized modern brewing technology. But this long tradition is visible in the brewery’s latest products.
FOLK was commissioned to create the concept and labels for Vasaknos’ four new extraordinary recipes, where the oldest brewing traditions meet exotic and unusual ingredients. FOLK decided that there was no one to represent the new beer styles better than the legendary personalities – the first original owners of the Vasaknos manor and brewery, a powerful magnate family originating from the Grand Duchy of Lithuania – the Radvilos.
As well as the beer itself, the hand-painted labels became a dedication and representation of tradition and history with a little creative twist.

The four beers, all of different, exceptional tastes and coupled with four equally extraordinary personalities: CPT PLATER, Berliner Weisse-style beer with raspberries was dedicated to the countess E. Pliaterytė, a noblewoman and revolutionary. BEARDED JOHN, Weizenbock, a rich and full-bodied beer was dedicated to Jonas Radvila I-Brodaty (eng. Bearded). SINGLE MIKE, a beer made with hemp blossom, dedicated to Mikalojus Kristupas Radvila Našlaitėlis-Sierotka (eng. Orphan), and M.R. SHADY, a coffee stout, dedicated to Mykolas Radvila Juodasis (eng. Black).
