While the world attempts to learn to live in an era of COVIC-19, cities are dealing with the collective trauma that the pandemic has inflicted. But from within the effects of these troubling times, we strive to find the silver linings — the unexpected positive effects, which have come in the form of unity and acts of solidarity.
Inspired by the empowering feeling of unity, and to spread the message of hope, we wanted to celebrate some of the world’s most iconic cities with the best way we know how to. With paper. We’ve created paper collections in a color palette that matches the unique atmosphere and spirit of six cities, from the buzzing energy and bright lights of Tokyo to the uniquely urban feel of the world’s most iconic metropolis that is New York City.

Starting in South America, Rio De Janeiro in Brazil is famed for its Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. The unique combination of beach life in the mids of a city creates an interesting contrast of festive colors scattered on a muted, tropical background. Merely 100 kilometers from here, the city of Budapest, which is divided by the river Danube into the west side Buda and east side Pest, offers a spectacularly dramatic and historic skyline unmatched elsewhere.
