There is a new place for paper and design lovers on Warsaw’s map: Kartoteka, a concept store for creative paper and beautiful stationery, opened its doors in ul. Pańska 98 on December 11, 2013. It is the first of its kind in Poland. Our correspondent Agnieszka Cegla was at the grand opening party and shares her first impressions with us.
Kartoteka is an innovative space which serves as a shop for design paper and stationery products as well as a creative meeting place for printers, designers, advertising agencies and their customers, a place where they can be inspired, exchange ideas and discuss about their creative print projects. The experts at Kartoteka are happy to advise on the type of paper and printing best suited for each individual project.
Discussing about the perfect paper choice
Kartoteka’s interior design aims at creating an inspiring atmosphere: The origami inspired logo and corporate design was created by Polish illustrator and graphic designer Anna Niemierko, who chose to print the stationery, bags and briefcases on SH Recycling. The furniture and the shop’s logo are constructed of corrugated board and the lamps by Natural Born Design are made of Tyvek.

At Kartoteka you can brows though numerous drawers filled with design and special papers by Europapier in many different colors and textures, buy beautifully printed invitation cards, premium wine boxes and many more products.
Searching for the perfect paper is easy – just open the drawers
Kartoteka was officially opened on 11.12.2013 with a big party. It was a great evening filled with paper, inspiring conversations and good food. Below you can find some impressions.
