Polish illustrator and graphic designer Kinga Offert, who we’ve featured previously here, works on various creative projects from advertising illustrations and poster design to mural paintings, animations and textile illustrations. With an easily recognizable style, Offerts work is filled to the brim with humor and clever observations of everyday life, illustrated in bold colors and kooky characters.
Observing the life around us through kooky characters, thoughtful occurrences, and tongue-in-cheek attitude
Offert’s illustrations stand out with playfulness and authenticity, drawing inspiration from everyday scenes and social situations, and recently, social media. Depending on a type of project, she uses different techniques, such as classical drawing, painting, and recently, has delved into the world of sculpture, with intriguing results. but whatever the medium she chooses to work with, the style and feel of Offert’s work remains light-hearted, and always, good-natured.
I guess for me inspiration is everywhere, I can find it in a stone on the floor, or in the design of someones bizarre outfit…even in someones behaviour! Offert explained to Inkygoodness about her source of inspiration.
Offert’s latest work includes the Lockdown 2020 vol.1 illustration series, which she created this spring during the COVID-19 pandemic. The illustrations in the series act as a drawing diary of the three difficult months during which she had to face new challenges.
