In his debut book, photographer Benedikt Renč invites readers into an intimate exploration of the life and work of renowned DJ and producer Jakub Strach, better known as NobodyListen. Over several years of collaboration and friendship, the two have crafted a unique photo book that captures Strach’s creative journey, providing rare glimpses into the world of one of the most celebrated DJs both on the Czech scene and internationally. This carefully curated collection offers snapshots of his daily life as well as candid behind-the-scenes moments from legendary parties and groundbreaking projects.
Benedikt Renč is an acclaimed Czech photographer specializing in fashion and advertising. His passion for the craft began early — at just thirteen when he picked up his first camera. Renč’s talent has led him to create stunning black-and-white portraits of icons like Johnny Depp, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sir Michael Caine, Rosamund Pike, and Roger Federer, placing him among the most sought-after photographers in his field.
Jakub Strach, known professionally as NobodyListen, has made a name for himself as a leading Czech music producer and DJ. He’s widely recognized as the mastermind behind the cult rave parties known as Addict, which have become a phenomenon in the Czech Republic. Strach’s influence extends beyond the party scene as he’s collaborated with prominent Czech and Slovak rap artists and composed music for prestigious productions like the BPM performance at the National Theatre. Together, Renč and Strach’s collaborative work results in a book that captures the essence of NobodyListen’s artistry, both on and off the stage.
The limited edition NobodyListen publication is a true premium example of great concept, high-quality execution, and thoughtfully chosen design papers and printing techniques.

“From the very beginning, when we were preparing the book concept, it was clear that we wanted to publish a premium quality book. The choice of paper was crucial for us. Our publishing house has been cooperating with Europapier for a long time, so we naturally asked them for a consultation on choosing paper,” explains Jakub Stransky, production manager at BiggBoss Publishing, the publishing house behind the masterpiece.
From the very beginning, when we were preparing the book concept, it was clear that we wanted to publish a premium quality book. The choice of paper was crucial for us. Our publishing house has been cooperating with Europapier for a long time, so we naturally asked them for a consultation on choosing paper.
The journey to create this high-quality book was as meticulous as the photos within it. Petr Lacina from Europapier introduced Renč and the team to representatives of the Garda range, who presented them with a selection of luxurious paper options and trends. Thanks to the samples of realized photographic books showcased, Renč ultimately decided on the Garda Premium Natural 170g paper, which perfectly suited the book’s aesthetic and quality standards.
Because this was Benedikt Renč’s first book, the support from Europapier and the Helbich printing house was invaluable, especially in perfecting the cover. The production team spent countless hours fine-tuning the exact shade of dark red, printing in UV Offset on a foil laminated to greyboard, and wrapping it in a protective transparent cover with the title silk-screened on the inside — a true labor of love and attention to detail.
An incredible amount of dedication, passion, and craftsmanship went into realizing this book. Europapier was thrilled to showcase it at the 2024 Frankfurt Book Fair, where it received enthusiastic praise from attendees. We’re proud to support such remarkable projects and hope you’ll find the book as captivating as we do.
